You can use virtually any image as your main picture. For large mosaic projects, feel free to choose a more detailed image with richer elements. For smaller projects, we recommend selecting a simpler image with clearer shapes and contrast to ensure the best result.
We may crop your image, adjust color, contrast, brightness, or apply other advanced filters to optimize it for mosaic conversion. In some cases, We may also apply AI enhancement or AI re-creation to your image — all changes will be made with your approval.
Cell image guidelines for a photo mosaic project
- Orientation: Keep all images in the same orientation to avoid cropping delays.
- Image size: 800×600 to 1600×1200 pixels recommended.
- Photo count: 200+ photos suggested — more images means better mosaic quality.

File Safety
Your privacy matters to us. Once your mosaic project is completed and confirmed received, we immediately delete all submitted photos from our storage systems.
