Work Trays
We offer various types of work trays designed to hold mosaic tiles.
Trays for Finished Mosaics
These trays are used for assembling the final mosaic artwork. They are custom-made according to the tile size and grout gap required by the user. Options include plastic trays produced through injection molding or aluminum alloy trays machined via CNC. Plastic trays are economical and lightweight, while aluminum trays offer precision and durability. Common sizes range from 300×300mm to 600×600mm, and custom sizes are also available upon request.

Trays for Raw Materials
These trays are used to hold raw material tiles, typically as part of the tile feeding system for mosaic robots. They are generally made of plastic and measure around 200×200mm. Their dimensions are calculated and optimized by our engineers based on the customer’s specific requirements.
In some cases, we may use laser cutting technology to make trays. This process is typically used for rapid prototyping and can also be employed for producing small batches of trays.

Trays have two main applications:
- For manual mosaic assembly — ideal when used together with our Tile Indicator.
- For use with the Mosaic Robot.
